Wethers can protect a herd of sheep or goats as they have excellent ‘herd’ instincts;
They are powerful animals and particularly alert;
These animals are only available to very caring farmers who are willing to provide the additional care required for alpacas;
There will be conditions attached to their sale that will involve a probation period on a buyer’s property, for us to gauge their suitability to your environment;
A pair may be available mid 2006;
Overnight stay in self-contained cottage with alpaca training included; and
A cost of $1000 (includes GST) for the two.
